Yale 1958: News & Information
John Barker (Bark) Hickox
We have just received word that Barker Hickox passed away on Monday afternoon, September 7, 2009. Barker had been struggling with cancer for a number of years. His treatments caused him to miss our 50th reunion which he deeply regretted.
A memorial service will be help on Long Island, probably on October 24. Please let me know if you might be able to attend and are interested in more detailed information.

Class Directory
The effort to gather information for our classbook is over. Now, as planned, we have put that information into our class directory and uploaded it to our website. Click here. The directory, as amended from time to time, will be here on line for as many years as we want. For additional information, click on “more” more…
John F. Embersits
We have lost Jack. On Sunday, May 17, 2009, Jack was on a golf course when he had a massive heart attack and died.
As Cinda said, “This is exactly how he would want to go.” I agree with her but I wish it hadn’t been now. I think so many of us were looking forward to seeing him at the mini-reunion being planned for October 2-3 in New Haven this fall. No one in our class was more supportive of our classmates or more interested in helping us all get together. I also feel that he was the number 1 fan of the Whiffs of 1958. Oh how we will miss him.
Damn! He was one of the good guys. No! He was one of the great ones.
